Does the app need an internet connection?
No. All astronomical calculations are performed on your device. The app works completely offline once installed.
Do I need to provide my location?
Location is optional but recommended for accurate local calculations. If you don’t provide location access, the app will use UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) as the default.
How do I enable location services?
Go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > AperioEphemeris and select “While Using App” or “Always”. The app will use your location only for on-device calculations.
The calculations seem incorrect. What should I check?
  • Verify your device’s date and time are set correctly
  • If using location, ensure Location Services are enabled for the app
  • Check that your device’s time zone settings are accurate
How do I reset the app?
You can reset the app by deleting and reinstalling it, or by going to iOS Settings > General > iPhone Storage > AperioEphemeris > Offload App, then reinstalling.
